Camp for Creative Kids... Songwriting, Music Games & Fun!

"Brooklyn Music Factory has made a huge difference in my daughter's life. It's such an encouraging, supportive place, and it gives kids the tools to make their own music. It also lets them experience that being in a band is for anyone who wants to do it. Thank you so much!"

2022 Summer Camp

About Brooklyn Music Factory Camp

This summer Brooklyn Music Factory is once again back in action for a unique–and totally rocking!–camp experience. At Brooklyn Music Factory's summer camp, kids ages 4-12 join bands and spend their days writing songs, playing music games, and more in our fully equipped studios. In addition, campers get to enjoy free time every day getting lots of fresh air and physical activity at our neighborhood park. On Fridays, kids will record their original song to share with friends and family! (Note: OR Gig contingent on Covid)

Build Community

... by joining a band!

Kids join our fun, music-loving community and learn how to work together in a supportive group setting. Groups are small, no more than 6 kids per band! And we have bands for total beginners and experienced musicians too.

Nurture Creativity

... by writing songs!

Through our game-based curriculum, bands write lots and lots of original songs. There’s a special feeling of accomplishment kids get when playing a song they wrote together—and all campers get to enjoy it. No experience required!

Build Confidence

... by performing your song!

At BMF camp, campers of all ages–will get to play a gig at the end of the week for fellow campers! Kids LOVE showing off their new skills and the work they created! Performing is a fantastic way to build confidence and celebrate how far they've come!

Get Physical

... by going to the park!

BMF is very fortunate to have a park nearby. Our kids run, climb, and play daily, and are encouraged to dress appropriately so we can go out no matter the weather.

Stay Safe

...with the BMF pro faculty.

BMF teachers and staff are trained to make camp fun AND safe for all campers. Proven safety procedures in addition to following all CDC Covid guidelines, a nut-free facility, CPR-certified leaders, and more create the safest environment possible!

Have Fun!

At BMF, we want our campers to have the time of their lives! Every activity, whether writing a song with your band or playing in the park, is designed for maximum fun!

Brooklyn Music Factory will:

  • Require face masks inside.
  • Enforce regular hand washing and use of hand sanitizer throughout the day.
  • Sanitize shared spaces and equipment regularly.
  • Limit the number of people inside the studios at all times. Parents, caregivers and siblings will not be allowed in the studios.
  • Incorporate lots of outdoor time into the daily schedule.
  • Require families to keep campers home if they are showing any sign of illness or are under quarantine for any reason.
  • Require BMF employees to stay home if they are showing any sign of illness or are under quarantine for any reason.
