Ready for a radically new type of private music lesson? Private Lessons at Brooklyn Music Factory are fun, effective, include playing all the instruments in our studios, and are absolutely never repetition based & boring. Every step in a student's lesson is accompanied by the teacher jamming along with them. We grow confident, creative, and communicative musicians ready to play with others.

Keep the PLAY in playing music while learning the skills to be in a band. Through drum circles, rhythm games, vocal excercises, movement, and a fully equipped rehearsal space, BMF students get the unique opportunity to learn what it takes to play music with others and have FUN along the way! And to top it all off, kids get to show off all they've learned at our Band Parties playing a gig in a real NYC venue! Students have gigged at The Living Room, Littlefield, Southpaw, and Puppets Jazz Club.

Local musicians and music teachers Nate Shaw and Peira Moinester have joined forces to form this amazing home for budding musicians!
